Strong to severe afternoon and evening storms

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for West Michigan Monday afternoon and evening. West Michigan will see hot and humid air ahead of a disturbance that will pass across the region bringing showers and thunderstorms. Inland from Lake Michigan, the combination of temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90°, and dewpoint readings in the muggy mid-70s will push the heat index to near 100°.
